In the hopes of finding a new and funky hairstylist who can give me a haircut other than the "Charleston Straight Cut", I decided to attend the grand opening party of Article 5 Salon & Boutique...and I'm glad that I did. The Salon was very cute...mini chandeliers adorned the ceiling, a large selection of various styling products stocked the shelves as well as an assortment of other great items for sale like hand-made jewelry and head-pieces made from vintage feathers (by "Treats for Tresses"). The Article 5 stylists were on hand to mingle and give current and potential clients the low-down on the new space. The salon was stocked with yummies provided by Cafe Paradiso and Cupcake, and a bartender was on hand to serve up some fab libations. They gave away 2 gift baskets filled with styling products, flat-irons, blow dryers, and more!...which I was sad to not have won. All-in-all it was a great and succesful night!
